Hidden Science and The Future Is Now are the new albums being released by one of the UK's leading underground producers Solipsism. These albums mark a turning point in his recording career that will for the first time take his music to the public en masse.
Solipsism who is a believer in the conceptual approach has crafted two albums that each represent a different concept while trying to maintain a certain degree of continuity that will bind both releases together. Solipsism tells us that "I believe that each piece of work an artist puts out should in some ways continue to embody the overall concept that is the life work of the artist. I think of all the work as one great concept which will take different paths with each new piece as the concept grows and diversifies."
Hidden Science is based upon the belief that there are things that governments know about yet conceal from the people. New developments in the scientific world aren't always made available for public consumption, be that through fear, desire to control or through war-mongering. On top of this, there have also been many scientific developments that have been utterly detrimental to the human condition and as such governments have concealed and denied the truth about the reality. Hidden Science hopes to take the listener into a world where you should question what you are told and be sceptical of science as we know it.
The Future Is Now which features the diverse talents of Ed Drury, Mike Milillo, Henry Tarnecky & Roger Talkington is focused on the concept of circular time...that is, what will be has already been and what has been will come again. Breaking down the concept of linear time and opening the listener up to the concept of rebirth, science of the ancients and removing the notion of a beginning and an end. Solipsism says that " for years we have been indoctrinated through religion and pro- religion governments who are afraid that the truth would set us free....religion is a great mechanism for controlling the masses and one of the most important factors of western religion is the concept of linear time. Without Linear time, there would be no In The Beginning...as there was no beginning and there is no end either...life throughout the universe works in cycles and in a time cycle there is no room for a Judgement Day."
Both these albums are what could be termed as futuristic ambient music with one eye looking to the past.
No conceptual animals were harmed during the recording process
Both these albums are available on CD format from the CCT Records site just now and will be going onto every major download site and in selected record stores both in the UK and Europe in mid November 05
